I am going to pick up a new set of irons and possibly a putter/driver this weekend.

Any suggestions?

Currently I am looking at some Cobra s9 irons. Driver wise, I haven't really looked yet.

You can never go wrong with Titelist.
They make great clubs, all the way from driver to SW.
If I was an average golfer (assuming you are) look for a set that doesnt have a 3 iron or even a 4 iron.
The new rescue clubs are far more forgiving than the long irons to hit.
Hogan and Ping also have nice irons.
I picked up a set of Calaway x-20 tour irons last year and a couple of titelist vokey wedges and have been really playing well with them.

I ended up trying the X-20's, King Cobra s9's, and a set of Taylormade (think it was something like r7?).

I ended up taking the Cobra s9's. I used to use a 3 iron/4 iron quite a bit with success, however this set doesn't have a 3. I am going to keep the titelist 3 iron and 2 iron (yes, a 2 iron) though.

I was hitting the s9 4 iron about 180-205 yards straight every shot.

Probably a Taylormade R7 driver.

Putter will probably be next month.

Good choices on all fronts.
My advice for the putter would be to find out which works better for you, a blade style or a mallet style.
I am way better with a mallet style, bought a scotty cameron blade style last year and am terrible with it.
