I'm not trying to oversimplify things, but I do believe in this case--it is just that simple. Arlovski was the man until he got ko'd by that tap to the chin from Sylvia. He's gotten rocked in nearly every fight since then. He goes into his fights tentative, his confidence grows (because he is the most skilled hw in the world) until he gets rocked by some bitchslap, then he freezes up and gets tentative again. No matter if he's dominating or losing, somewhere in the back of his mind, his inner voice is screaming, 'zomg faggot you're gonna get ko'd again!'.

Well, I think its safe to say that a granite chin turns into pewter once some one breaks it. Wand, AA, Chuck, CroCop etc...

i just watched the fight again, the only time hatton had his hands down was in the millisecond after he got his bell fucking rung the 30 or so times he got caught with a hard clean punch.

I never said that, Hatton is a badass, I have always liked him, but the fight looked like the equivalent of a HS Football team playing the Patriots.
