I hope that this comment is accurate. Show will certainly fuck up Page's training for the title fight though.

"Machida is fighting Rampage for the title in September, which is just before the new TUF season debuts. If Rampage wins, the upcoming fight with Evans would be a title fight, which is what they want. If Rampage loses, oh well, still gettin to see Rampage vs Evans. It’s a no lose situation for the UFC."

So Rampage gets embarrassed by Machida, then has to coach on TUF right away? Ouch. I am looking forward to seeing Jackson vs Evans though! Machida will destroy them both. Only Anderson Silva has what it takes!

He (Dana White) said Machida didn’t want to coach, because he wants to stay busy. Machida had said on his website that he would defend his belt at UFC 103 in September, but White said Thursday that is not true.


White said he is working on an opponent for Machida, but declined to identify him. He said he could make an announcement as soon as Thursday afternoon, but said the possibility exists that the process could drag on. He wouldn’t put a time frame on it, either.
