Is about to start. 18 of the last 21 horses that were on stage for a triple crown have failed.
This should be good.

What a fucking let down. BB got wrecked. I was looking at the odds before the race and I was laughing at how pwn it would have been to place a bet on Da' Tara, 38-1. I wish I would have laid down a grand on Da' Tara.

A girl I know up north laid down 30 bucks on Da'Tara and made around a grand. Not too shabby.

I usually don't say things like this, but I smell fix. Everyone and their grandmother bet on Big Brown.
The Casino's in Vegas and AC made some serious jack off that race. No medical problems on the horse, either. The last time Big Brown and Da' Tara raced; BB beat him by 23 links.
You tell me...:sherlock:

I've been in this line of work for almost 20 yrs - yes, it was fixed...NYRA races are notoriously dodgy, not so much the California tracks (DelMar, Santa Anita, etc.) - Meadowlands is as crooked as it gets.

The excuses are coming out of the wood work on this one. First the owner gets shit for admitting he pulled the horse off winstrol sp? a month before the race now he turns around and blames the jockey for being a pussy.
To me it was the worst possible position for the horse had he started at 6 he probably would have won. He broke hard and stumbled got boxed and tried to give it hard several time early and kept running into hooves. Bad luck more then any other factor.
