with the whole DREAM drama, and the eyepoke (brushing it of like it means nothing)?
He is really coming off as a stuck up asshole to me now.
i dont lose ALL respect for people every other week like alot of people do,but if he wanted to get his career back on track,he cant really do much in dream other than beat overeem,and hes almost in a pulver situation IMO.He can still beat average fighters,which pulver cant even do anymore,but hes lost alot of confidence and killer instinct,getting beat by guys because he doesnt bring what he used to have to the table anymore.So if he wantsa to stay in DREAM,and just make money fighting lesser competition,thats fine,but why get all our hopes up,making it seem like he was going for a serious run at the top again only to do a 180? Its frustrating if your a fan of his
I also think Mighty Mo will knock him out anyways

No respect lost at all, hes on the downside of his career. People get poked in the eye all the time in fights, its not his fault the refs a fucking moron

Mighty Mo doesnt have the problems of just going in there and trying to kill his opponent like Mirko used to
I've lost all respect for him. He's a pussy as far as I'm concerned. A ton of talent, but he's not a real fighter - no heart. And then his comments about how the eyepoke wasn't bad and basically calling al-Turk a pussy is a bitch move.

I must of missed how he called al-turk a pussy, its not his fault that the ref fucked up and didnt stop the fight and thats pretty much what he said in the post fight interview, that these things happen which they do. He still would have beat al-turks ass if the ref stopped and gave him a 5 minute break.

making the whole half hour video about why hes motivated to take another run at the UFC title and then just bounce after one fight is just strange. He's always been an arrogant fighter, its kinda obvious now that the fedor and gongaza fight fucked with him mentality and he will never again be the same fighter with that invincible attitude he once had. Now he fights like a pussy and you can't have an arrogant attitude when you fight like a scared bitch you just come off looking like a toolbag.
he took too many fights in his day,hes burnt out,hed always fight cans on bushido,even right after a loss.Dude was fighting 5 or 6 times a yr on avg.Theres just no reason for that other than $$$.Before he fought Fedor he was very motivated to win that fight but since then,the only time we saw flashes of his old self was the tourney cos there was some kind of belt on the line.
Then he tried to shoot for my legs, but I shrugged him off easily. He didn't have to do that thing with the eye though.
When I say not a real fighter, I mean a guy like Wand or Chuck. They're FIGHTERS, nothing else. CC is simply not that. He doesn't have the heart and has always been about as mentally strong as GSP.

Thats the thing,He didnt get to fight fedor for a long time,and he kept thinking he was the secret weapon to beat him,and that alllowed him to think his shit didnt stink and plow through guys.Of course it worked against him against randleman,but for the most part,he took the center ring,and people had to try and survive as long as they could.Everytime he lost a big fight hed threaten retirement.Sad to say but hes just weak mentally.I dont want to say he doesnt have heart,i think he does.But hes weak mentally,doesnt trust his own talent anymore and its a shame,because he was becoming a better fighter...the fight with barnett showed a guy who wasnt 100% afraid of the ground,hed enter barnetts guard and attack,he had some subs under his belt etc.If he kept improving who knows where he would be now.

I am torn. On one side, it was a bitch move after hyping how he wanted to make another run at the UFC title. Also, going to Dream is a shit move anyway. Sure, he will have a grand old time beating cans and getting KTFO by Mighty Mo and make money, but it will just further tarnish the prestige that he had.
On another side, it was hilarious to see Dana get fucked for once. CC is still a good fighter in my book, just still the same cocky bastard that he always was.

I'd rather see him give it up, the HW in the ufc now is just too big and athletic.

I haven't really lost respect for Crocop, but I thought he should have retired a couple of years ago. He doesn't have the fight in him anymore. He can't beat anybody but cans from here on out. He had a great career, but it's time to move on now.
