i like nate, and i think he'll take hoe daddy if he fights smart, but that's his only takedown...

still, joe daddy isn't a cake-walk by any means. diaz needs to keep it on the feet for a bit.

The problem for Nate in this fight is simple - if Joe can get the TD, I think his jits is good enough to stay out of a sub (most likely)

It's a closer fight than most think imo

I cannot see Joe getting subbed. Im either taking Joe Daddy by sub or decision even though I DO NOT LIKE HIM, and I do like Nate when it comes to fighting.

It's a fight. I think a guy who is an underdog and lost 3 out of 4 is a coin flip. I'm not confident in either, why over commit?

BJ tapped him, Florian tapped him, and Tibau had an Omo for three minutes and would have tapped him if they were away from the cage.

It seems like his skills are regressing.

Until I see ONE omo finished in MMA, I'm not going to agree with this. Too hard no gi.

He was losing the Tibau fight until the guillotine.

Yes he was. But Tibau has the opposite type of jits that Diaz does.

I agree with omos not finishing so much that I assumed you do too, Tibau would have used it as a sweep to get top position.

Stevenson impressed the shit outta me by fighting intelligently. He took advantage of an opponent's weak wrestling and went to work. Still lacks cardio though, and he may not be able to get on top if he fights someone else.

This isn't a "new" Joe Stevenson; it's one that actually uses all of his skills.

I like both fighters so I wasn't rooting for anyone in the fight, but I knew if Joe used his whole skill set efficently then he should beable to beat Nate. Joe did just that and proved that when he's at risk of losing his contract he can win a fight... Now only if he could of had the same spirit when he had a shot a beating a bigger named opponent.

UFC awards record three "Fight of the Night" bonuses after entertaining TUF 9 FinaleAnd how did Guida look? I knew it was a tough fight for him. Sounds like he got worked in the first but won the 2nd and 3rd? So close on my first ever pick by split dec . . .

Dominant as fuck first round, very clear second round, and the third really did not matter much, although Diaz took it.

Funny thing was, Nate almost had the fight won right off the bat with a tight as fuck modified guillotine, after you told someone nate by guillotine was the worst pick you have ever seen. I thought Joe had it won with a guillotine too.
