I think Diego whooped Guida's ass but if you are scoring by the book it was either a draw or Guida won. I hate how inconsistant UFC's judging system is. I had a feeling Diego would win eventhough he lost the 2-3 rounds.

i was really surprised to see wilkes or whatever his name is dominate demarques whatever his name is. i missed diaz-stevenson, but i thought diaz would take it.

both diaz bros need td defense (i'm sick of saying this) and better takedowns.

anyway, several surprising outcomes. i'm not surprised that diego won, but i'm surprised at that first round and how terrible guida looked.

i've never found guida boring. he's not the most skilled fighter, but he's got amazing energy and brings a fast tempo (and the fight against diaz wasn't boring to my mind, buds).

diego should fight the winner of florian-bj, and match up against kenny soon no matter what. that would be a great fight (the latter). bj would absolutely tool diego on the ground, imo.

i'd like to see diaz back, but he's never gonna beat koscheck, gsp, fitch, or even old man hughes. maybe he'd sub kos, but i'm not so sure.

if he'd fight smart, he should take karo in a re-match. if diego ever moves back up, he might take that re-match. still, he's never boring. oh, and maybe strikeforce should host diaz-riggs II. i bet diaz wins.

i haven't seen the fight, but if i understand what you're saying, lemme add that the throw from the standing kimura is nate's ONLY take-down. it's slick when it works, but he needs to be proficient in several upper and lower-body take-downs. he's got one.

Yeah, Nate does it everytime someone tries to grab a single on him, but Joe daddy would roll backwards with it and end up on top, did it like 4 times with the same result.

Most Cesar Gracie guys are better on their backs I have noticed, they seem to spend a lot of time on their guard I guess. Dave Terrell, Nate Loughran, Diaz's, Shields, all have really good guard games. In fact Shields an Terrell are the only guys of the ones I just mentioned that I can recall almost ever being able to control from top position.
