Fresh off a knockout loss to former heavyweight boxing champion Ray Mercer that had many asking questions about his training and dedication to the fight game, DREAM officials made an announcement today that will no doubt surprise. Sylvia, while not slated for the Affliction card as originally scheduled, has been in contact with the japanese promotion and will appear on their DREAM 10 card which is only a few weeks away.

Earlier Sylvia was reached and had this to say, "This has always been something I've wanted to do, I've always wanted to fight in Japan ever since I got started in mma. I believe this will be a good fight for my fans to show that I'm here to stay. I won't make any foolish mistakes this time, I'm coming to win and win decisively."

When asked about the rather hasty return fight his manager Monte Cox seemed very optimistic, "This is a good fight for Tim and his fans, they will see that he isn't going anywhere and it will be a good way of showing he is still a top heavyweight."

DREAM 10 is scheduled for July 20th and will air on HDNet.
