The going rate to fight Emelianenko is said to be between $600,000 and $1 million. i agree. Monson is great on the ground -- when his opponent has no ground game. Fedor would beat him w. teh quickness no matter where the fight went.

I think Vitor poses the biggest threat actually. size issues aside, Vitor closes the distance faster than anyone in mma and could really fuck Fedor up if he got off a decent combination.

If it came down to a choice between Vitor and Monson, as those, to me, seem the most probable options, I'd cast a vote for Vitor. Granted, there's a bit of a weight discrepancy; since Vitor obviously wouldn't have to cut weight, I'd imagine in the area of 30 pounds or so, give or take. Fedor isn't exactly a large heavyweight, after all.

In the case of Vitor, at least Vitor is fast and hits hard. There is that chance, slim as it may seem to some people. Monson is simply too physically slow. He may be stocky and physically powerful, but Fedor would tear him up no matter where the fight happens to take place. On the feet, Monson doesn't have the technical ability or speed to pose any real danger (as I see it), and on the ground, are people forgetting that Sylvia had a near-triangle on Monson? I can understand if people have consciously blocked any memory of that fight, though.
