Looks like danas trying to put an event on the night of the Affliction show, Wandy and Vera have both been approaced about the fight, not sure if its a definite yet, im sure wandy is down.

Not sure of any other fights yet though

I doubt they'll be able to pull this show off. It's too little of time for fighters to prepare.

Well i sure as hell know im gonna watch the affliction PPV instead of the UFC on spike, The affliction card has better fights, well who knows though since the UFC didnt announce any fights yet.

I will make a point to buy the Affliction PPV just to support them. I will also not record/watch that UFC event if there even is one. I'll just internet watch it the next day.

Affliction has some real potential and Zuffa pulling this shit pisses me off.

Is it me or is Nesi pissed off a lot?

BTW, I WILL be buying the Affliction card. They need support and I'll throw them $30 to keep them around. But I will also be DVR'ing the UFC event if it does go through.

Im definitely gonna watch affliction, there is no way the UFC is gonna be able to throw together a card this late that is going to be better than the affliction card, that card is stacked as hell.

I hope they pull decent PPV ratings so they will continue to have shows, hopefully it wont just be a one show thing. But with all the money they are paying these guys who knows if its gonna last.

The difference between the 2 cards is that all of the fans like people here that actually follow mma will be interested in seeing the affliction card and all the tuf n00bs will be watching the ufc. Hopefully the hardcore fans will outweigh the n00bs that watch the UFC card, hopefully the UFC card wont even happen but im sure they will throw something together

Affliction used the UFC to begin with. They got there name out there by sponsoring every goddamn fighter with their shirts. The exposure did them well and now they start their own MMA promotion. Good for Dana for getting them back at them.

This fight isn't happening. I would have done the exact thing that Wand did. A couple of weeks isn't enough time to prepare for a fight.

Bullshit. I understand being down to fight anyone but that shit is reckless. Why risk your weight class standings and ascension to a title shot by not being fully prepared?
At this level of competition you need to have a gameplan and be ready for your opponent.
