wait im confused here what the hell happened? i understand rampage is a faggot but what did he do to affect counter programming, and im assuming they are talking about for the strikeforce event

it was the back up fight in question I believe and since rampage fucked up 107 they had to get it a new headliner

Whats so hard to understand? Since Jackson pulled out of his fight with Rashad the UFC had to take the fight that they were going to counter the strike force event with and have it replace the Rashad / Rampage fight.

the other problem is that bj penn in memphis isn't quite as compelling as rampage in memphis.

there's a reason they want stars to fight in their home towns. even crap fighters like gurgel are used that way to sell an event.

Gurgel going over to strikeforce to fight stiffer competition really screwed the UFC's plans up as well. They won't be able to make it to Ohio this year now.
