Ken Shamrock: They allowed Royce to wear his gi, but told me that I had to remove my wrestling shoes, which gave me grip and stability. According to them, the shoes could be used as a weapon. Once I understood how the gi worked and began training without shoes, I beat Gracie into the mat.
Gracie: Second time he didn’t even come in to fight me, he just came in to stall, to hold onto it for dear life. But there’s so many new fighters out there, there’s so many fighters out there man.
