lol no shit

Zuffa probably cut Brock Larson due to his salary. Larson received $26,000 from his fight at UFC 106, making him the 6th highest paid (base-salary) fighter on the fight card. Since Larson was unable to beat UFC newcomer, justifying paying some $26,000 to lose to fighters who receive $6,000 in base salary doesn't make much sense.

he got BEAT THE FUCK DOWN in that fight. seriously, Foster worked him. some of the shots he was landing on the ground were brutal, and he looked considerably smaller than Brock.

something is off with that dude. he was wrecking dudes in the WEC... i guess he was beating up cans.

let's be honest, alessio is probably the best guy he's beaten in the past five years.

ufc probably should have given him one more fight, but it's not surprising.

Brian Foster wasnt a UFC newcomer, but I understand why they cut him.

I'm surprised he's done so well considering he has little if any striking which was very apparent in his fight vs foster

i wonder if it was the mysterious octagon jitters guys get in the ufc. i know he's no worldbeater, but he he turned into a straight can in teh ufc, or at least a b- level fighter. that loss to pierce is forgivable, but if he can't beat bradley at these stages in their respective careers, he should be in another org.

nah, i think he's just been overrated all along 'cause of his performances in the WEC. what WR mentioned about his striking is true. he's just a very good wrestler in a world of very good wrestlers who can also strike.

i was very tempted to pick Foster in this last fight, but figured the odds makers knew something i didn't.

don't get me wrong - the mental game is huge and you may be right that it's playing a role, but his whole game just looks weak lately.

now he's saying he was lacking motivation being on the undercard for the past two shows. well boo fucking hoo.

maybe Wargods will give him co-headliner in a matchup w. War Machine - assuming he doesn't hang OD on Prozac first.

"It's probably a good thing," Larson stated via text message. "I was having a hard time getting motivated for my last two fights. I needed a change. The undercards just didn't do it for me."

learning some striking would make all the difference for him, he could actually set takedowns up instead of strong man rushing straight forward standing up trying to grab somebody
