We might as well argue this shit together. It's an IFL clusterfuck and I'm lost.

Giboo got beat by Ryan Jensen. Blackburn's got a ton of losses, but to pretty good guys.
Giboo looks to have some pretty heavy hands, but I'll have to take Blackburn.

Brad Blackburn vs Rory Markham
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 02:59 AM
Blackburn looks to have great takedown defense and explosive takedowns. Like diet Tyson Griffin.
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 02:59 AM
Giboo looks to rely on submissions, which he won't get on Blackburn.
Brad Blackburn by TKO. He'll get him against the cage at some point, take him down, and pass.
Piranesi

Blackburn's jaw looks a little suspect, but James won't test it.

Dale Earnhardt is fighting Shannon Daugherty?
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:03 AM
Farber is an OKAY wrestler, but can't do much with it. If he can get Markham down, which he probably won't, he'll get armbarred or triangled, otherwise Markham puts him out on the feet.
Rory Markham by Submission.

Shannon Gugerty (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=11001) vs Dale Hartt (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=11970)
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:06 AM
Gugerty's got a win over a young Cub Swanson, and a subsequent loss to him and his mate, Shawn Bias. Bias is a pretty good 145, so I won't write that off. Gugerty might come in undersized, though, but he trains with KJ Noons, who is a master of warping his body around.

Dale Hartt on paper looks to be young, fresh, and a finisher.

Shannon Gugerty (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=11001) vs Dale Hartt (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=11970)

Hartt knows his fucking drag chokes.
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:11 AM
Not much out on Gugerty. I'll take Hartt by submission over the potentially one-dimensional Noons product.

Nate Loughran (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=15626) vs Johnny Rees (http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=14891)
Piranesi

18-0 between the two, all finishes.
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:15 AM
Loughran subbed Richard Montoya and Kenny Ento, two great Californian fighters out with PFC.
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:16 AM
No video on either, but Loughran looks to be way more impressive on paper.
Loughran by Submission
Piranesi
07-06-2008, 03:17 AM
In an inverse sense, Jesse Taylor got raped by Kenny Ento. I've seen the fight, and Jesse looked like shit. CB UD.

WOW only a minimal response to the 3 important fights on this card.
As as MMA offshoot TCM is losing steam.

1). Team JT Money has eggs
2). A Silva will steal the LHW belt from Forrest in a few months. Irvin will be destroyed.
3). Vera will happily prove his last loss was the most bullshit call in the entire history of the UFC.

Okay, I'll admit, I know little about the IFL. Here's my picks though
Anderson 1st round TKO
Vera 2nd round TKO
Edgar UD
Black GSP 1st round KO
Rory Markham 2nd round TKO
Blackburn 2nd round TKO
Gugerty 1st round sub (purely based on the fact he's a City Boxing prospect)
Rees 1st round sub (dunno shit about either)
Velasquez 1st round TKO
COCO IS KIIIIIIING UD

Holy dog shit Cain Velasquez is the underdog to Jake O'Brien. Bet the fucking farm. Even money is HIGHWAY ROBBERY. It's fucking them without lube or a reach around. It's just fucking sweet.
since i dont think edgar has sherkroids,if he eats a franca flying knee he may go down, otherwise he will use teh sherk powers and keep franca on his back for teh decision
