What bugs me most about UFC is that their cards have gotten poorer and their prices have increased. I used to buy every card when it was $40, the cards were always decent and people always came over to split. Now some events are so shit I tell my friends I can't support that shit so I stopped buying a lot of events.

Because Pride really advertised their wrestlers as the future of the Heavyweight division.

I miss good production values, amazing presentations that didn't always involve fights (fighter introductions, Genki/Gono entrances, ect) knowledgeable fans in attendance, freak show matches, stomps/knees to the head which made for much more exciting fights, cards that went thrown together out of spite on about 2 months notice (except the last one) and not listening to incompetent broadcasters. I'm talking about Goldy there. Joe doesn't bug me. But most of all, I miss Takada in a man thong.

Loved Pride, but I hate the ring for MMA and I hate having no elbows. I wish the USA athletic commissions would add the stomps and knees to the head of a grounded opponent so that they could be back in the UFC.
Also, bring back headbutts. That used to be my favorite part of old UFC's. It would spice up the clinch and the ground game dramatically.

You see I hate elbow and I prefer a ring. To each their own I suppose.

Same, a lot more ground game in a ring with no elbows.
Like Bas always says, why would you improve your position and go for a submission when you can drop down elbows so easily and cut the guy.

TUF>PRIDE just look at forrest
i prefer the ring, but i have grown to dislike all the restarts in the middle of the ring
it interrupts the flow of action

I loved the ring for the way it helped force the action standing, but it's absolute shit for when a fight hits the ground.
DREAM = UFC but the more they develop it will be
