Page looked calm the whole time, did'nt panic, and almost turned it into another power bomb. He won the entire round before and after the triangle. Ive watched the whole fight 3 times now and everytime I come up with Rampage win, or draw.

I watched the fight a few times now, and I don't think top control with minimal damage is a 10-8. A 10-8 round from what I understand means that a fighter takes a large amount of punishment, almost enough to stop the fight. Yeh he took side control and mounted, but what does it mean if he doesnt do any signifcant damage?

Round 4 is really all that matters. It is the only round that one guy didnt clearly, win but I had page winning it both times I watched the fight. I guess it comes down to wether you weigh a failed sub attempt greater than a few good combos and a sub escape.

And as far as Rampages shit ground game, no one is claiming otherwise, its the notion of a 10-8 round where he takes almost zero damage other than the leg kicks that confuses me.

If it's simply by control, then you could rule rounds 10-8 simply because a guy is in side control, or has a guys back for four minutes. A dominant position is useless unless you're doing significant damage.

Yeh, even if you give Forrest a 10-8 it all comes down to that fourth round. Forrest had a deep sub attempt and a couple straights connect, Page had a a few power combos and, slick sub escape, and some lazy top game. Tough call.
