i havent bought this mag in like 10 yrs due to my waning interest in boxing and my new interest in mma
but i picked it up last night,and there were at least 2 articles trashing mma and all its fans

sure i dont mind them saying anderson silva would lose to roy jones in boxing,thats most likely what would happen
but they basically said mma fans are all retards,that punching from the mount is savage and dont hold a candle to the "sweet science" and they compaired anderson to wilt chamberlain saying he could beat Ali
they also said the best boxers could easily have been the best baseball and basketball players if they wanted.

what really brought the lols is when they found out the numbers SHAMROCK VS LE brought in,they were like "why arent these fans watching boxing instead? maybe i have to stop insulting them? maybe next time"

lol not really,i guess its to be expected,but i would really love if the staff of ring magazine embraced the sport and made an mma mag with RIng's format.

it would go a long way.

I enjoy boxing for the science and all, along with it's translation to MMA. Boxing alone is purely a sport. Marcus Davis is good because he knows the whole fight game and not because he used to be a boxer.
