Now I know this probably wont happen for 900 years but if it does the only way it would work is if the PAC10 dropped Oregon. I'm talking the entire state of Oregon. Just cut ties with it. Take a hacksaw to the border of the state of Oregon and just push it out into the pacific. Get rid of the entire state. what a waste of land that could be filled beautiful ccean. Washington could build a gigantic bridge to California. Or a beautiful Marina.

Screw the NCAA, if the country was smart they'd just saw Oregon out of the Union and make it some jobber island out in the ocean to test nukes on. Happy Trails Oregon!

I think the conference should get their referees up to speed before they decide to ruin two other program's Saturdays. I'm with you Paulscpa.

The PAC-10 would be a mess without us.

LMAO @ the PAC10 on this one...talk about keeping up with the Big Tenses. The Big Ten has been in PAC10s head ever since it added Penn State. LOL. Just lol.

Big 10 is going to add Pitt, Rutgers, or Syracuse from the Big East, and the Big East is likely to add 3 teams of it's own. All the BCS conferences want a conference championship game now.

we don't want those fags or their shitty academics. keep 'em, imo. penn state is enough of a drag on the big ten as it is.

well, you're getting one of them whether you like it or not.

football > academics

it's a done deal tsar. they're just deciding which of the three they want to take. most people are betting it will be Pitt.

you should check out the NFofL football league. there is a team called the Saints of New Orleans that are very compelling.

I don't see why the Big Ten would add a team from the Big East when they have MAC teams all around them. And the Pac-10 should pick up Fresno State and Utah, IMO.

the Big 10 is pre-occupied with being an academic powerhouse conference. they only want top 50 research institutions as members. any school they take will have to be a top research school, or be poised to become one.

the news today is that they are recruiting Texas (which is a better university than most already in the Big 10), but Texas wants Pac-10 membership.

If the Big Ten will hold out for Notre Dame's NBC TV contract, I think they have a shot at joining.

A TX school in the PAC-10? WTF. It would put it right there with the SEC, for sure. TX would never do that though, it's all smoke. They can get to the big dance with a shitty schedule, they'll keep it that way.

Either BSU/BYU or BYU/Utah, IMO. BYU and Utah would keep everything in two's. OR, WA, AZ, Norcal, SoCal - UT

BYU is decent in basketball too right? Theyd probably be the best fit in Pac 10

BSU are a bunch of faggots

And I meant BSU/BYU as an option, not BSU/Utah

Starting to sound more legit. If this happened, the PAC-10 would be the best conference by a large margin.

he Big 12 reportedly gave Missouri and Nebraska an ultimatum of Friday to decide if they will remain in the Big 12. If those schools leave, the Pac-10 could be strategically situated to gobble up Big 12 teams looking for bigger opportunities, including Texas. The most widely discussed scenario has Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado joining the Pac-10. There was some indication Sunday that Baylor could replace Colorado under pressure from the Texas Legislature.

It's pretty gay when you go so far out of your region to get more schools, especially when you have Boise St., Utah, Fresno St, etc. right there.

Here's the article from the ESPN front page. No mention of any closer schools in this one.

Colorado will be official in the next 5 minutes or so. It's happening. What a juggernaut of a conference this will be.

Buckner1986
06-10-2010, 12:43 PM
It doesn't really matter because Texas and OU are going to be 1/2 in the Pac-16 every year.

___
06-10-2010, 12:46 PM
lol, just lol

The article I just read is saying that the PAC-10 will be pushing for two automatic BCS bids. There will be an east and west division, sending the AZ schools over there. No championship game.

Buckner1986
06-10-2010, 12:49 PM
That's gay. The whole point of having 12+ teams is a championship game. I was just telling my friend a couple hours ago that the new Pac-16 was probably going to try to push for 2 BCS bids. Fucking bullshit.

Buckner1986
06-10-2010, 12:50 PM
I'm a Nebraska fan and they're moving to the shitty Big Ten. My poor wife is a K-State alum and they're going to get pushed into the Mountain West.

Buckner1986
06-10-2010, 12:51 PM
This whole scenario leads me to believe that the 'old' Pac-10 schools don't want a championship game because they know that they'll have to play either Texas or OU every year.

___

Must suck being a college fan in the NE. I feel bad for you lot.

Big Ten has the richest television contract right now. Pac 10 just wants to get in the money. Colorado isn't going to get them there though. They suck.

Colorado, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State won't do shit for them.

Only Texas will provide them with what they're looking for. Big 10 is the most attractive to schools because they have their own network that provides the schools with additional millions of dollars.

Tsar

big ten doesn't need shitty academic performers from the big 12 or whatever its called. getting stuck with michigan state and penn state is bad enough, but they don't need any more shitty schools.
