After dismissing the idea of welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre moving up to middleweight to face 185-pound king Anderson Silva, UFC President Dana White expressed interest in the matchup on Thursday after Silva told Yahoo Sports this week that he could drop to 170-pounds for a matchup with GSP to ‘test himself’.

“I’m blown away that he even said that. If it’s true, if he could cut down to 170 then I would look at a GSP fight. I would do it,” White told MMA Fighting. “I don’t like the idea of GSP moving up, but I’m interested if Silva can make 170.”

I am applauding you. it was very good and in depth advice you were giving Anderson, who I am sure reads this forum. He posted the other day that he planned on having his lower leg removed to make the cut, but after your posts he might do it through exercise and good diet.

If he captures the ww crown he'll have you and you alone to thank. way to go man.
