Q.: There was talk about possible rematch. What are chances of this happening? Do you want too meet Werdum in a re-match?
A.: I really want to meet with him one more time, and like Fabricio said in one of interviews, he is ready for a rematch even in Russia, Brazil, USA - anywhere. But our desire one thing and agreement of our managers is another thing. As I know Vadim has already discussed all conditions of our future fight.
Q.: So, chances of this fight happening are pretty high?
A.: Yes, I really would like to fight Werdum again.
Q.: It will be under M-1 and Strikeforce contract or on other conditions?
A.: Looks like in Strikeforce, but it`s up to managers.
Q.: What is your plans for the near future?
A.: (Descibes his plans to attend local events).. and in August I want to start preparation for new a fight.
Q.: Future fight will be in this year or next year?
A.: I`m not ready to answer this question yet.
Q.: Preparation for new fight will be different?
A.: I think no, but I will be more attentive.
Q.: What trainers say?
A.: Everybody understand what happened. Fabricio grabbed my arm, but I jumped to finish with strikes. Maybe my head hasn`t reacted 100%, maybe I realied on myself too much because I wanted to win as fast as I can - this is where mistakes came from. I think I was more pragmatic in the past. For example when I fought Nogueira I was not allowing the situation come even close to this.

AE`s reaction to Fedor`s loss:
"I was really worried about him. My mood was awful. My wife was speaking to me but I barely heard her - I was just thinking why that happened. Fabricio Werdum isn`t the best fighter to this date. I think Fedor relaxed because of this, he already beat everybody that there are to beat. He made a mistake in the beginning of a fight and his opponent capitalized on that.
Fedor had to defend in a different way and Werdum would not be able to do anything. But brother got into trap that he brilliantly escaped many times.
It`s good there are no serious injuries. Fedor already said to me that he necessarily will do re-match."
