My draft is this saturday and I have the 9th pick in the first round. I'm in a league that give points for receptions, rushes, and completions. Who do you think I should grab with my first two picks? Jackson and Brees or if Jackson is gone something like Mendenhall and Matthews? I usually like picking up two rb's early because the drop off in production is usually high.

you get points per rush? i dont think ive ever heard of that before, but if you get a point per completion you should def take a top end QB if they are their

yeah, that's why a rb who gets a ton of carries usually helps alot. for a QB, i think I can get Romo or Schaub in the 4th round and he'd be almost as good as Brees or Manning.

i think flacco is gonna be really solid this year

i hope so. I was the last person to pick a qb so I didn't draft one til the 7 or 8th round.

Everyone's gonna be taking RBs first, i would pick up a QB fa sho. One of these 3 should be there: P Manning, Rodgers, Brees.

Then go ahead and take him in the third round, be stacked at RB and make everyone look like fools

12 Team PPR League, 9th overall pick

QB-Tony Romo
RB-Felix Jones
RB-CJ Spiller
WR-Randy Moss
WR-Brandon Marshall
TE-Dallas Clark
W/R-Mike Wallace
K-Jay Feely
DEF-New York Jets
BN-TJ Houshmandzadeh
BN-Chestor Taylor
BN-Legedu Naanee
BN-Kevin Smith
BN-Mario Manningham
BN-Brandon Gibson

I need Spiller to come through and Felix to stay healthy. I'm thin at RB, but outside of like the top 5 guys im not too high on any RBs anyways, so I'll be keeping my eye on the waiver wire. My WRs and TE are sick, and that's needed in a PPR league. I got TJ pretty late considering his pre-season ranking. I guess people were scared to draft him because he got cut, but the way I look at it, where ever he ends up he will probably be better off than he was in Seattle and be playing somewhere that they need him.

good strategy imo

qbs are deeper than top rbs and wrs. Those are top 3 but not must haves. you can go farther with better rbs and wrs and a so so qb imo

moss, marshall then clark

Based on preseason projections they were ranked 6, 7 and 17.... i got them with the 9th, 16th and 33rd picks. It's a PPR league so top WR have much more value than in standard leagues. I got 4 guys that were top 25 point getters last year, more than anyone else. Backs that make alot of catches, like Chester Taylor are valuable.

12 team OTR draft just went down... 7 QBs in the first two rounds, 9 in the first three. I had to pull the trigger on Romo, which is nauseating.
