When I left the [Werdum] fight I understood the whole situation and said right away that my opponent will avoid me for as long as possible. When the fight will happen, for now, I don't know. He apparently did an operation on his hand. He will delay the rematch as long as possible.
I understand that we're all people, this is sport, this is life, and I was always prepared for this.

Strikeforce wanted to do Werdum/Overeem, but Werdum said that he wanted a rematch with Fedor and Overeem is tied up with K-1 til 2011. Werdum did have surgery on his hand and elbow, so Fedor is a little misinformed, maybe.

you do realize its not fedor saying these things its his managament, if you havent noticed, he doesn't speak english. And when he does say something in russian, it usually pretty humble. He doesnt make random statements about other fighters, this is all M-1. Fedor doesn't have anything to do with promotion or talking to the press.

I think everyone who isnt a hater agrees that fedor overextended himself and thought he could jump in his guard like nothing. I really dont think it would happen again. i think he just had no fear whatsoever,hes basically gone through a whole career where there was no situation he couldnt get out of,and he almost got out of the triangle,but both guys were too dry,it was just way too early
