Tim Sylvia (lost to Fedor Emelianenko): Suspended 180 days with no contact for 180 days due to a left-elbow injury (can be cleared early by an orthopedic doctor)
Ben Rothwell (lost to Andrei Arlovski): Suspended 60 days with no contact for 60 days due to an ear-lobe laceration (can be cleared early by a doctor); minimum suspension of 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
Edwin Dewees (lost to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira): Suspended 180 days with no contact for 180 days due to undisclosed reasons (can be cleared early by an orthopedic doctor); minimum suspension of 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
Pedro Rizzo (lost to Josh Barnett): Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons

So, looks like Fedor broke his hand again, so Fedor/ Arlovski can't happen. Sylvia/ Rothwell can't happen. Belfort/ Lindland can't happen. Looks like its Barnett vs Buentello, and I'm going to guess Ortiz vs Babalu.

Ahh. AA vs Barnett might be good. I guess they could do Ortiz vs Lil' Nog as well.

Aren't these just precautionary? I thought it wasn't too uncommon for fighters to not serve the full medical suspension?

I know that you MUST serve your full KO suspension. At least I thought you had to.

That one I'm positive on. It was Fedor and Timmeh's I was questioning.

Fedor didn't break his hand, he just had a dislocated thumb.

There were a lot of rumours going into the fight coming from his camp that he had an injury. He had to annihilate Timmeh with a dislocated thumb, no big deal.

If Vitor can managed to beat Lindland, I might spin on my head or some shit. I like Belfort at 185, but we all miss the Vitor who went and there with the Heavys and rocked their shit.

They had to fill out their ranks anyways. They pulled matchups like Belfort Martins out of their ass I have faith they can do it again.
