LOL - Silva tore that guy up. That guy landed one shot the whole match. However, that was that guy's first and only pro boxing match (it was Silva's 2nd). There's not too much you can get from that.

Also, this was 3 years ago, which was right around the time when he went from a mediocre fighter who didn't care to a great fighter who's been dedicating himself 100%. He's improved leaps and bounds in those three years.

No matter how much he's improved in the last three years, it's still not enough for him to beat Roy Jones in a boxing match. Roy Jones is an all-time boxing great, and even if he's retirement age, boxing is his world. Silva would kill Jones in a kickboxing, muay thai, or mma match, but in boxing he'd have to land a lucky shot. There's no other way he can win.

He is a tall, lanky, southpaw, which is the type of fighter that gives Roy Jones trouble, so he might be able to make it past the 5th with Jones, or if Jones's body is aged more than we think it has, he might lose a decision. Again his only chance is to land a big punch, and Jones is a hard guy to do that against.
