He could Ko Gomi's ass.
yeah like all the other times gomi got koed? nah i dont think it would be such an easy thing to say,he fights like gomi likes to fight,if they slug it out,who can say what happens
they both have retarded power, but i dont know if slugging it out with gomi is a good idea

With that said, is CBS going to be able to put on another show? Looks like things are going down the shitter for them.
I think Shields would take it too, fairly quickly.
yeah if he got daley on the ground hed get mounted and subbed like the goat did

Semtex isn't very easy to take down though. He's good enough to stuff a takedown from Shields. We'll see what happens. He's too dynamic on his feet for Shields IMO.

Damn, chalk up a loss for Daley.
I'll be rooting for him, but he ain't gonna win this one. Too big of a jump in competition. Of course his stand-up is a hundred times better than Shields, and he has and improving ground game with decent take-down defense. However he won't be able to stop Shields from taking him down and subbing.
Of course he's got the proverbial puncher's chance, and Shields has to be very careful if he decides to work for a takedown in the clinch. I hope Daley wins and cusses some more on live TV (I'm the fooking best!), but it's a longshot.

yeah he needs to fight guys better than sam morgan before jumping to a guy like shields
what do you think about a gomi vs semtex match? elitexc could do it,you KNOW sengoku needs someone to fight him

Semtex vs Gomi - that would be a good ass fight. Daley's problem is his ground game, but Gomi isn't somebody who likes to take it to the ground. I'd give Daley a much better chance against Gomi than I would against Shields just because of the style matchup.
I'd still say Gomi would win, because unlike Daley, Gomi does have an offensive submission game. I'm not sure who would get the better of the stand-up game, but if Gomi starts to get knocked around at least he has the option of taking it down and submitting Daley. Daley doesn't really have that option (at least as of now). Also, if Gomi did want to take it down, his stand-up is good enough to set up the takedown properly - he doesn't have to sell out to go for it.
They already have some plans for Gomi. Gomi is facing Seung Hwan Bang this weekend, and then the winner of the Sengoku lightweight tournament, which also starts this weekend on the same card.
