Is he a propogandist? Sure. But show me a promoter in the fight game who isn't. He's not nearly as bad as most boxing promoters, (I love boxing btw).

Is he cocky? You bet. But again, show me an executive in a very successful growing company who isn't. With Dana it's just more on the surface.

This guy has built this sport in North America so we have a sport to watch and participate in.

By and large, he makes every reasonable attempt to bring the world's best fighters to the UFC. He went after all the Pride guys everyone wanted to see. He got CC, Shogun, Wand, etc.


Sure he didn't sign Fedor. What Fedor was asking for would have set a precedent he couldn't afford. Was he out of line for saying Fedor wasn't Top 10 when it went south? Yeah. But I can forgive that type of transgression.

I he perfect? No.

Is he a scumbag? Maybe.

Has he been good for MMA? Fuck yeah.
