Good or bad pick up?

My thoughts, good pick up since he costs them nothing. If he plays well, great pick up, if not, easy cut.

i thought pie was actually comin along, hittin more ground balls and line drives, i think edmonds is done, he cant hit and i dont know if he still has what it takes to play center field anymore, especially with lazy soriano in left, but it costs nothin so if he does suck we can get rid of him, i just hope it doesnt fuck with pie's confidence

true, but Pie needs to be more consistant at the plate. The Cubs have been looking for a lefty for some time. I just hope they bat him 7th, and not fuck w/ Theriot at #2 or Fukadome at 5.

Couldnt have been any worse then signing andrew jones. Edmonds is quality for a fraction of the price. His defense has always been solid and although he hasnt hit for shit this year I can see him getting hot for a month or two.
