they probably will, the program has clearly slipped over the past few years, the talent level is just not what it used to be. if they get a quality coach with solid recruiting skills they will fine in a few years. of course, I don't give a rat's ass about UT, fuck the vols and fuck fat phil. I doubt that mang, besides weren't they in the SEC championship game last year and take LSU(the eventual champ) to 3OT. Last time I was down Souf was in '04 and there were little fags running allover Arkansas, Bama and Florida wearing Vols shirts, I doubt they've lost that much popularity because of one bad season.

The only seasons they were bad is when they didnt have david cutcliff as OC, now they dont have DC or FF. Trust me, they are fucked.

You doubt what? Yeah, they were in the championship game last year but they pretty much backed into it and lost (and no they did not take LSU to OT, that was Kentucky and Arkansas). I'm not saying they don't still have a lot of fans, just that the talent level has slipped from when the were winning 10 games a year on regular basis in the late 90s and early 2000s. They lost 4 games in 06 and 07, 5 games in 05, and they are probably not going to a bowl game this year.

everyone has bad years though, you cant win 10 everysingle year. Its easier now I guess with more games being played, but you get the point.

Damn. As a Vols fan, I don't like this. He's had too many good and too many great years to let him go after a bad season or two.
