It's not tremendously difficult to pick up IMO. Granted, I spent a summer at a friend's house and was taught by going in the dead of night so my dumb ass wouldn't get laughed at (much) but yeah. A summer or so and I went from total n00b to where I didn't suck.

like pretty much everything, it's going to take a lot of practice. A LOT. just keep putting time in and pay your dues and you will get better.
