This is their Superbowl event... should be one of the biggest of the year. Because they're a borderline monopoly at this point, they don't have to load their cards. They just cinch the entire event with one fight (the main event).

Penn-St. Pierre should be great but let's be honest, the rest of the card sucks. Why the fuck is John Fitch on the under card? And why is there this love affair with Karo? He's good but let's see him and Fitch lock horns rather than this stupid set up.

The Bonnar-Jones fight is another one that I have ZERO interest in.

This event is much better than the NYE card. Penn/GSP, Machida/Silva, Karo/Dong, and Guida/Diaz are all GREAT fights.

It's a very good card from top to bottom. Fitch might be getting a little backlash from his videogame contract debacle, but you know Guida/Diaz is going to be an awesome fight, Karo getting beaten is always fun and it seems as if the Machida fight might be for the #1 contender spot.

Machida and his decisions are blown out of proportion. Tito is hard to finish ( who has besides Liddell?), and he almost had him twice. Once he would have if the rd. didn't end. If you're aggressive, like Thiago will be, he will finish you. He's only gone out of the 1st rd 4 times. I say TKO rd. 2

No kidding - I hate saying this about any fighter but about halfway into the first, BJ looked like he didn't even wanna be there. I think he was tremendously nervous for the fight and it came out in the form of talking a lot of trash and acting overly excited and happy about the fight. GSP just physically war him out and beat his will into submission.
